Mordano
In the late 19th century, the engineer Giovanni Brusi was commissioned to design and build what is, today, the very symbol of Mordano.
The Due Torri (Two Towers) were built to replace the gate that guarded the old fortified centre.
The building takes its inspiration from the towers at the Arsenale in Venice; in keeping with the practices of the day, it has evident medieval deign features and is rimmed with battlements.
