Church of Our Lady of the Assumption

Provost Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Piscina - via XX Settembre, 52.

Located in the centre of the village, built in the 12th century on the remains of an earlier Romanesque church. Houses a valuable panel painted in 1492 by Marco Palmezzano, well-known pupil of Melozzo da Forlì (Madonna and Child between Saints John the Baptist and Margaret), an original sculptural lunette from the Lombard period and a 16th century baptismal font.
